Huili's Baby Shower at Waikoloa

Welcome all! This past Saturday we had a baby shower for Huili. I have to say thanks to everyone who came and had fun playing games with us. We appreciate the gifts and kind words of wisdom each filled out, we will make it into a little booklet or frame it.

I want to say special mahalo to my Hanai Mom- Linda, Elly and Elliott for food and labor. Thanks to Vicky for allowing us to use your clubhouse at your condo at Waikoloa. Thanks to the Pua for helping setting up. Mahalo to Pastor Rick and Aunty Carol for driving all the way to Waikoloa from Hilo, thank you for doing the prayer also and most important I thank Jesus for allowing us to have these special people in being a part of our lives in celebration of our son. We had a few that could not make it and called to wish us a good shower- thanks.

This event has made it more real of having this baby be coming soon and we are looking forward for him and I am in love with these stage where he does movement. This also in having this new relationship with my wife Li. We pray to have wisdom when this boy arrives and having us to provide the needs of this new life.

Regarding the shower, we had a good time. We had neat prizes for people when played the string game to find the nearest length, my neice Kanoe won. We tried the left right game and it was kind of fun but I learn to modify it more to have it more fun. We also tried Bingo and Lovey took the cake on this one because she put the picture on one row at a time. I appreciate Raydyn for showing up and bring some ideas for the games, next time will be more aware of what to do and not to. This is my first shower but I learn so much. We are thinking of doing a chinese custom for showing the baby a month after called'welcome party', chinese does not believe its healthy for baby until after a month for having the public viewing, avoid the elements to germs and things in that nature be introduced to the boy.

Huili was exhausted at the end. I really enjoy this night and having this time with my wife and very moved of her being the center of the party and seeing her looking through the gifts. Huili looks beautiful and cute tonight and I felt she had a good time like I did. Thanks again everyone and have a great day and til next time. Aloha! Wade

Move over Wyland!

This painting started out as a pumpkin for he is a Oct baby. As you can see it's not exactly a pumpkin but an alien, Huili does not care for it.

This week we are at 33 weeks! Can you believe we are expecting the arrival of our son in 5 to 7 weeks???? OMG. At this momnet I am enjoying every part of this time of feeling him move in Huili's opu (stomach). Huili gets tired now more than before because the baby keeps her up in the early mornings. Recently, I had a feeling for art so I chose to use Huili as my canvas.

I am enjoying it and I love to see the baby getting all moving, the video shows just that.

The turtle, she like. I like this other photo of Huili taken at Target. The next photo update will be regarding Huili's baby shower, it will be fun.
