Our soon new home in Kawaihae

We are very excited to soon be moving to Kawaihae. We found this perfect home for rent suiting to most of our current needs. We like the idea of warm weather & also needing a little more room. It does get somewhat hot during the day, not as humid as asia heat, but it's more tolerable compared living in the cold & wind. Now I can head to the beach when the surf is up! Oh yah!! Please keep us in your prayer as our family moving from one chapter to the next ;)

Kawai taking a quick nap. This park is walking distance from our new home.

This is at Waikoloa Queen shops. A shopping leisure area built in 2006. We often drop by here to do a leisure family walk.

How beautiful

15.5 lbs at 2.5 months old (why are they calling me Akibono)?

Oh Hi! I am being a good boy strap into my seat waiting for my mom and dad. We are going somewhere, would you like to go?

Hi again! We are doing our walk and I became hungry when passing this place where big people settle. Man, did I mention that there is a lot of BIG people...

Me and my bro- Kelson. We like to hang out and talk story. We were discussing if our union contract is being kept with our boss, mom and dad. We have a lot of things to negotiate but I like them for their benefits..

Kawai loves to talk now. What I found funny is when I bring the phone to video record, he sees it and then becomes really silent??!! So I found its best to record when its kind of dark and with a third person.

Just hanging out

Aloha and Good Morning! This is Kawai or in Chinese Tianle :) Today I thought of sharing some pictures that is just to show me and my Daddy. My dad is funny and he is sooo in love with my Mommy that I won't be surprised if I get a sister soon.

I love to drink milk, take naps & do big smiley faces. I really enjoy going out with mommy and daddy to places that I never seen before (which is pretty much a lot ;p). It seems that everywhere we go, mom and dad knows someone to talk to? Well, I have to eat now so chat with you folks later! C-ya

Common Daddy, let's get moving, I am all strap in already for the past 5 mins, and I think I am really ready to go. Oh how long am I going to be strap in the car seat? ok ok I be a good baby, just get the car going ok, that makes me feel little better, hee hee.

My nap time on the most comfortable place in the whole wide world- my Daddy's comfy body & the smell of his aroma, zzzzzzzz

Daddy & Mommy want me to share the many funny faces I like to make each day, especially in morning time. It's real fun to move my mouth & cheek around, try some, especially when Daddy start copying me & talking 'Whale sound' talk to me.

See, I told you my Daddy is learning & copying from me the funny face master, heehee

I'm over 2 months old and I am as big as a 4 month old, on my 2 month check up, I weight over 14 lbs, doctor say it's all the yummy Mommy's milk I had, yum yum.

Got your back dad, not to worry!

This is my fishing look. Mommy loves to put things on my head and I don't like it most time, but look, I can still hold on for a photo. Daddy understands and removes it when Mommy is not around :-) But I think Mommy got the eye bec I do look cute in it yah? you think? :)

Christmas Parade in Waimea! Dec 5th 09

This is 'downtown' Waimea, actually is the only town in Waimea, it's real beautiful town, just with very unstable weather. Today we had a Christmas Truck Parade in our town.

Not sure how it started here in Waimea, perhaps from the old days when sugar cane is a big & main industry here, whereby big trucks were use as the main transport for hauling all the sugar cane for process & the soil that comes with it too. So every year during Christmas time, all the trucks from different companies & organizations will decorate their trucks with Christmas theme into a parade, and of course loud honking from the big truck honk. We don't know how many people was in town but I have to say "A- L O T ".. Kawai had a good time seeing so much lights and people.

Our very rare family pictures, got to grab the chance when we can :)

Two month Check up with Dr. Gregg

Waiting for our turn & time for hugs too.

This is Dr. Gregg, Kawai's doctor. We are glad that he is our doctor because he is very knowledgeable and easy to relate with. He answers our questions and he has a great attitude.

This check up Kawai needed to take his shots. He first took an oral vaccine. Next.. he did 2 shots that was ok, had some feeling. The THIRD, wow it was murder. I felt bad because I know the shot and the vaccine was intense. The amazing thing is minutes later, he was good. From our first time with shots, he has handled it good.

That night of the shots, its said having a fever is very common for 24 hours. He did get hot but he was good with being uncomfortable.
