Happy Easter!! Thank You Jesus :-D

Aloha Everyone.. We hope you all had a awesome spirit filled Easter Sunday! Our family gone to the Hilton Hawaiian Village for the Easter Brunch and I was impressed. The food was good and the views, wow. Last night we gone to see the New Hope Easter celebration at the Neil Blaisdel Center and guest speaker was the best & very inspiring.
Kawai is talking more and more each day. There are many times I hear him making some weird sounds with face expressions along with it. He is becoming a little man and its amazing how a boy becomes a grown little person.

Kawai giving our family dog 'Alamea' a sweet kiss.

Kawai at 18.5 months old, we can see how his face changes & more define, only through taking photos & comparing them.

This is from Grandma for Easter & mahalo Nana & Happy Birthday to Grandma too.

Kawai's first mini Easter egg hunt at the community center here by our home, he's understanding to pick up those colorful eggs to put into his bag.

Our first time to this beautiful hotel for an open air Easter brunch & a walk.

Yumm...

Desert. Desert. Desert.

Munch time, yeah!

Kawai's goofy face moments :)

Look Daddy! Fish pond right at our table, how cool is that :)

Hooray! Free run on beach time.

Swans, ducks, fishes, all favorite observing moments with all kids including Kawai.

Are we in China?! No, it's a copy version in the Hilton Village resort, but nice, kissing moment for Daddy & son.

Oct 2009 vs. Feb 2011.... WoW!

BEFORE

AFTER

Its been a looong time since post, sorry! :-D

Aloha everyone! Well, I believe its been about 3 months since our last blog. We apologize as we are trying to get our new year on a good start with business. Being new here, it has been a very up and down moments to get situated and having finances stable. We appreciate our family and more importantly our mom (Huili's mom) of always believing in us with help and support.

WELL, what can I say about the months of Kawai. Humm. its sure being adventurous for us as parents to see first had the changes and adaption of new things of Kawai is now a toddler. One of the fun things I like to play with is guessing where is Kawai when entering the room during the evening. Its always a fun time to see him change his locations and positions during his sleep. One thing we notice is, he is from Waimea (cold). He detest to have blankets on him when he is aware of it. When he goes to sleep, this is when mom does his nails and is when dad can cover him with blankets.
If I had to think of something to give new parents, its this: buy the baby sign language DVD and learn it. It will be an awesome investment because of the brain activity of using this language for your baby but also the stress you and the baby can prevent of having. We are still learning but everyday Kawai can pick up things sooo fast. He does not get too deep into a fit but he easily communicates his needs and don't wants.

We are finding that we need (mostly me) to be extra careful of my words, attitude and action. Kawai shows little details of things that I sometimes don't think of.
We are getting him more involve with other kids his age. We attend story times during days liberty are doing it. We have gone to a couple of gym programs. He enjoys but still cautious. For now, I have to end and leave you with pictures. Enjoy and look forward see you all again! A hui Ho!
