A drive on a part of the island of Oahu

Subtitle will be updated soon.... ;)

Happy Halloween 2010!

Aloha everyone and Happy Halloween! This is Kawai's second Halloween but really his first. A year ago this time he was only a month old. We put a simple zoo keeper outfit. Next year I am looking into having him dress up more or even try some water paint. We decided to attend this event held at the Bishop Musium. There was a lot of people and I guess other parents find it better to be at a single location to have candy.

Celebrating Kawai's 1st Birthday!

Sorry for the delay, we have been busy with our move into our rental. I can't express much more of how good we have it with place, home and neighbors. We are really feeling good about being on our own from a month ago. We wanted to express our greatest gratitude to our friends & family for many help making our move possible, and also to our friend- Bobby Kim for having us stay at his home for 3 weeks as we had to locate a home that would accept dog and pets

Huili and I had a great time having time with Kawai to celebrate his birthday. Just like his birth, it was only us. We like that and we will continue to do that and have a party separate. The thing that gets to me thou is how much I feel bad for those friends and families that could not knowing Kawai at this age. I can't imagine of missing his growth on being a big boy. He has taken a sharp curve with growing in mind when he goes places. Its never a dull moment now and I can see his strong will. He also is becoming more impatient but it not that bad knowing I seen worse. Like I said, this moment will come and go and sorry for those who could not experience and feel the moment.

Below are pictures taken from the Honolulu Zoo. We are Zoo people and what better place to be in celebration for your birthday than a day at the zoo! Kawai enjoyed the animals and the environment.

Exact time of his birth.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Kawai!!!

The funny thing now, Huili does not like when I do this because when I do the New Zealand call ' uhhhh' Kawai automatically does the Maori tonqe.

I will need to blow this up and hang on the wall.. what a beautiful picture
