Kawaiohalani (1st name is Hawaiian), Tianle (middle name is Chinese), Anderson (last name)- both the Hawaiian & Chinese means 'The Heavenly Joy'. He also has 'An' as his Chinese last name- short form for Anderson, 'An' means peace in Chinese.
We called baby 'Kawai.....' for short- pronounce as 'Ka-vai', but not to be mistaken for just the word 'Kawai' which means the ocean in Hawaiian.
Kawaiohalani has 50% Chinese (from Mom) + (the rest from Dad)- which includes 25% Portuguese + 12.5% Hawaiian + 12.5% Italian (Sicilian to be exact) and of course 100% miracle creation from our almighty God :)

ReplyDeleteThis is Bee Hong. Really happy when Huili's mum called to inform that Huili has given birth and Congratulations to both of you on the arrival of your cute and handsome prince! It has been a really loooong time since the last time we met. I'm now expecting my second child and my EDD is in Mar 2010. It's really not easy thruout the whole prenancy ya, but it's such a joy when you see the little one arrive. :)
